Hello Spotsy Dragons,
Training has been created for all our volunteer requirements with the exception of timer (no training required for timers). All positions are required to complete training for the 2023 season (this is an annual requirement).
2023 Waiver Requests for USAS/VHSL Trained Positions. As in the past years, for certain positions that have undergone the trainings provided by USA Swimming or the Virginia High School League, a waiver request can be submitted to the RSL by using the link to submit their forms and documentation: 2023 RSL Waiver Request
All volunteer training will be performed online via the Rappahannock Swim League (RSL) website:
https://rsl.swimtopia.com/training. Direct access to each class is also available when clicking on the class below. RSL training has been created using Edpuzzle. You will be asked to establish an account. There is no cost associated with completing this training. Although training can be completed throughout the season, we will need trained volunteers to
complete training on/before 3 June 2023. Our
first two meets are Home meets, we will have the responsibility for the majority of the volunteer positions.
Click the links below to be taken to the training. You MUST answer all questions and click the SUBMIT button at the end of each course in order to get credit. If you do not score 80% or higher, you will be required to re-train. Note: access the class directly by clicking on the position title OR via the RSL training website provided:
1. Referee (if you are interested in becoming a Referee, take the training! You will shadow/assist an existing Referee during Home/Away meets before assuming the Referee role).

3.
Head Timer. We need a minimum of 5 Head Timers.

5. Starter. We need a minimum of 5 trained starters.
