Our coaches are dedicated to helping swimmers improve in all four competitive strokes in a fun and supportive environment.

Coach Dana joined the Dragons as a coach in 2015. She has extensive experience working with youth, as a coach and a teacher. Dana has experience coaching club, summer league and high school swimming. As a teacher, she has taught at the pre-K level for the YMCA; assisted with reading resource programs for elementary students, and has taught both middle school Math and Science. Currently, she teaches Middle School Science for Spotsylvania County Public Schools.
Dana is a mother of two, Stephen and Lilly. Lilly swims on the Dragons swim team and for her high school swim team. Stephen, a former Dragons swimmer, is currently a college-level swimmer. Coach Dana grew up in the Fredericksburg area. She swam for RSL's Spotswood Swim Club and for the StingRAYS.
